






The biggest thanks of all goes to the thousands of restaurant patrons who dined at participating restaurants throughout Mississippi and ordered traceable Gulf Shrimp specials. Your selection of the featured Gulf Shrimp entrees influenced the purchase of over 11,000 pounds of traceable Gulf Shrimp during the promotion. Your responses indicated that over 50% of the diners surveyed considered participation in the program as a major factor in their decision to dine at those restaurants.
Of course, the promotion would not have been possible without a generous grant from BP, which supported The Focus Group's marketing efforts to bring the entire campaign to life. Look for future promotions from the MHRA, which promote Gulf seafood, its history and heritage in Mississippi, and its importance to our economy.
